A complete musician

A pupil of Duruflé, Messiaen and Honegger, he played the organs of Bach and Buxtehude, recorded the greatest performers for radio and conducted orchestras from Barcelona to Munich.

Video archive: Pierre-Philippe Bauzin improvising at the organ and piano.

Music and the world will not stop at the twentieth century.

If my music does not meet the pulse of the twentieth century, should I take it as a compliment? Perhaps it will more easily meet the pulse of a twenty-first century grown more reasonable and more full of hope,

where the pulse that wears down the world will no longer be that of a failing mechanism, a machine destroyed by itself, but that of the heart, of every heart where love has taken first place again.
